We examined the role of vitamin A in helping children recover from upper respiratory infections.

In our case control study involving children aged 4-6, we found that those with respiratory infections had lower vitamin A levels compared to healthy kids.

Surprisingly, while vitamin A seems to support airway function during recovery, children with wheezing did not show the same benefits.

Overall, vitamin A appears vital for maintaining healthy respiratory function, especially when kids are fighting off infections.

Effective against colds
This has been effective for preventing colds in the throat and nose. During the summer air-conditioning season and in the cold winter, I frequently suffered from pharyngitis and acute sinusitis. I learned this ingredient is great for strengthening mucous membranes, so I started taking it daily, and now I hardly ever catch a cold in my throat or nose!

Quick sore throat relief
At the onset of a cold, I take Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D3 & K, alongside this product. When I experience a sore throat, it helps me recover swiftly, making it incredibly useful.

Cleared skin issues

I found this drug very effective! I showed signs of vitamin A deficiency—my thighs had bright pink spots (similar to what happens in cold weather) that were noticeable and felt like "goose bumps". After taking this carotene alongside vitamin E, everything has cleared up!

From the cold, particularly on my legs, my skin dries and cracks. I purchased this carotene to shield my skin from cold reactions and to support vision.

Quick recovery from colds
Fantastic! I really liked this natural beta carotene. I used it for myself and gave it to my husband at the first sign of a cold and he showed rapid recovery! The benefits are clear. The capsules are small, soft, smooth, and easy to swallow. The packaging is convenient and doesn’t take up much space in the fridge. As always, NOW Foods products have proven to be of excellent quality.

Vitamin A is essential for me, as I’m prone to eye afflictions, mucous membrane issues, and colds. However, an overdose made me ill. After researching, I switched to β-carotene. I don’t take it daily, yet I've found I'm less susceptible to tonsillitis and needn't worry about skin blemishes.
